Inspired by the confusing nature of academic writings, Access (2021) is a commentary on the difficulties we face when trying to understand information that has been hidden behind perplexing language. The information is thus inaccessible to many and the language used often becomes a form of gatekeeping. Allowing only those who have the tools to decipher it, Sarishna's likens it to the nature of a labyrinth, making it visually tangible to us.

Her sculptures draw influence from recognizable films like Pan’s Labyrinth (2006), The Cube (1997), Thir13en Ghosts (2001), and Dark City (1998).
